In a nutshell....

Here's Benjamin's story in a nutshell.

Benjamin was born on May 18th, 2007. He was (and still is) a beautiful baby, with blond hair and blue eyes.

On November 27th, 2007 Benjamin was diagnosed with a rare head deformity called craniosynostosis, which is the premature closing of the soft spots.

Six days later, on December 3rd, he under went major surgery to put a soft spot in his head to allow it to grow normally.

Exactly one month after surgery, he was placed in a cranio remolding helmet, which he wore for five and a half months.

Benjamin is now a perfect, round headed toddler, who is a pure delight and joy! We use this blog to remember the great acts that God has done in Benjamin's life.

We also hope that this blog will encourage other parents out there who have a child facing the same issues as Benjamin. If you have a cranio kid, please leave a comment, and share your story!
