That's what Elizabeth was telling my tummy this morning. She's finally figured out that she can't see the new baby when looking at my tummy, but the least she can do is talk to the new baby. And she has decided that she wants a baby sister!
Yesterday we were talking about one of her friends from church who will be having a baby sister. "Like me!" Elizabeth exclaimed. We try to remind her that God might give her a baby brother. "Have one," she tells us.
So, I guess we'll have to wait about two more months before we find out if Elizabeth is right.

Why pregnant women can't ride roller coaters
Of course there are the obvious reasons... safety to the baby etc.
But I think I've discovered the true reason pregnant women shouldn't ride roller coasters.
We're already on one! The Fantastically Fun Roller Coaster of Emotions!
With each of my pregnancies there has been a predominant emotion that I have experienced. With Elizabeth it was sadness and a very pessimistic attitude, which is not me at all! With Micah, I was very edgy, and got frustrated and upset very easily. With this baby, I cry. All the time! Sometimes I have reason, sometimes I don't. I could cry because I'm happy, sad, excited, annoyed or just because that's what feels right. Poor Curtis!
Well, at least no one can say this is boring.

The woes of a third child
When I had Micah, I told everyone that I would still keep a baby book, that he would have a scrapbook of his first year, and that I would take pictures of him too! And for the most part, I think I've done a pretty good job.
But poor Baby #3 is already getting the short end of the stick. At our 7 week doc. visit, we had an ultrasound where we saw the heartbeat. It was the first time that I have cried at an ultrasound. I was getting ready to post the pictures, and realized that I have (hopefully) temporarily lost the baby's first ultrasound pictures! I know they are somewhere safe, so I'm not too worried and I'm sure that they will turn up.
Until then, know that it was the best ultrasound picture ever! Even though all you can see is a little blob, that little blob is our baby, and had the most beautiful beating heart ever! We go back in just over a week, where we will have another ultrasound, and this time, I will not lose the pictures!

We're Pregnant!!
In case you aren't familiar with how a pregnancy test looks, this one's positive, and we're pregnant!
We found out on September 13th, and used a total of eight pregnancy tests to confirm. :-)
I had an ultrasound today which confirmed that the baby is doing well, and due on May 25th. Hopefully I'll get a picture of the baby (which the doctor referred to as our little lima bean) up soon.
