We had our ultrasound today. It was amazing to see how much the baby has grown in just four weeks! At our last ultrasound, the baby was 1.4 cm. Now, the baby is just short of 6 cm! The first time, all we saw was a little blob with a beating heart. This time, we saw a head, a body, arms, legs, hands, fingers, and the makings of a face. It was amazing!
The baby was very active, and the doctor had to keep chasing him/her to get the needed measurments. That's why in one of the pictures, all you see is the baby's face, up in the corner of the picture. He/She was waving before going off again.
All is well, and baby looks very healthy! The next ultrasound will be in about seven weeks, and we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl!!

This picture is what I affectionately call, the alien baby pic. On the face, you can see the eye sockets, but looks very similar to an alien to me. :-) You can also see the baby's right hand, with all five fingers, which is waving.
There are arms in this picture, but they are going so fast, you really can't see them. Same with the legs, but you can kinda see where they start. The head is at the right, and the baby is facing down. The body is to the left, and even though it's hard to see int he picture, we could see the heart beating away.
